What is high availability?

In contrast to other service providers which usually offer only standard availability, Mozello offers high availability.

Standard availability

99% of regular websites are hosted at a single location, which means that in case of a technical problem, the website is down while the problem is resolved.

High availability (offered by Mozello)

High availability means that your website is simultaneously stored on multiple servers at multiple data centers. If the main server or data center suffers technical problems, Mozello switches to a secondary data center and your website continues to operate.

If your domain was bought via Mozello, then you already are using this feature. If your domain name was bought somewhere else then you must make sure that your DNS settings contain a CNAME record that links your www subdomain to web.mozello.com for high availability to work.
