Step by Step: How to Set Up the Booking System on Your Website

Although the system is powerful and technically complex "under the hood", we have made sure that setting it up is as simple and understandable for you as possible. The process takes only a few logical steps:

1. Set Up the Calendar and Working Hours

Start with when you are available. You can choose a date and time calendar (for hourly precision, for example, beauty care) or just a date calendar (for daily bookings, for example, accommodation). Set working hours and lunch breaks, and immediately mark the dates when you plan to go on vacation or celebrate holidays.

2. Define the Involved Resources

The system needs to understand what exactly the customer is booking. A resource can be an employee (for example, "Master Jana"), a specific place (for example, "Conference Room A"), or equipment. Here you also set the time buffers, the minimum and maximum time before booking, as well as the necessary gap between them.

3. Create Services

These are specific appointments that customers can book for a certain date, time, or specialist. For example: a hairdresser visit, a table reservation in a restaurant, a hotel stay, a boat rental, or participation in an event.

4. Customize Reminder Notifications

Go to the settings and choose how your customers will receive reminders about the made booking: by email (available in all plans) or by SMS (available only in the Premium Pro plan). Important to know: For customers to receive SMS reminders, a phone number field must be added to the booking form. By default, there is no such field in the forms, so it must be added manually so that the system has the necessary contact information to send the message.

  • Application form: Visitors simply apply for the desired time by filling in the necessary fields.
